    hi everybody im new to the forum. after years of not playing snooker ive recently got the bug again. i bought myself a new cue as ma old one has been laying around for years. but i like ma old cue and i still want to use it when i play pool . the problom is its warped at the end . have you guys any tips on how to straighten out the warp

    Everyone will recommend to take it to a good cue doctor

    BUT if it's a DIY job then hang weights on it to straighten it. By looking down the shaft and rolling it find the point you want to bend point. Just like a balance scale hang weights on both sides of the bend point. I used an upright board on a stand and started off with 10 pounds each side at about 4 inches from each side of the bend point. Check it once a day and keep adding weights. You'll be surprised how much weight you have to add and how much the wood will spring back after a day.

      Is best you send it to a cue doctor to treat your cue.

      Since you have not been playing for sometime, maybe some part of the cue need services. It is possible for them to make your looks brand new again.
