  • Nicknames for the blue, pink and black balls?

    Hi!
I hope someone here can help with with this question:
What are the blue, pink and black balls called ?
I'm told they each have popular nicknames.

Hello and welcome to TSF - if the balls do indeed have nicknames ive never heard of them so could be a good question

I've often heard the black ball be referred to as 'Cilla'

I got this question today in a quiz competition. The quizmaster says he has heard TV- reporters use nicknames. But he may need hearing aid after this...

Well maybe the colored balls have different nick names for different people! I am not sure if there is a common nick name, my friends and I always call the green rasacal green! Its always stuborn and refuse to pot for some reason we also call the black "ela" or "nahs" which means bad luck or disease cause if the black wasn't on its spot boy the game turns awkward
It's not the pace of life that concerns me... It's whether I make a 147 break before it ends!

The quizmaster has revealed the answer: "Blueberry", "Pink Lady" and "Black Beauty".
What do you say about this? Is it commonly used names?
