  • Newbie with question!

Hi all, just getting into snooker again, dabbled in the past but playing regularly again now.

Decided to buy a cue, not looking to spend a fortune, but looking for some consistency in my game. Been watching a few on ebay for a few days, what are your thoughts on this?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-KINGWOOD-L...#ht_525wt_1141

Appreciate any feedback or pointers for buying a new cue.

    Thanks
    Paul, Newcastle

Depending on your budget . I would look on here there are always good cues going at a good price which are a lot better than this one .

Hit or miss buying from e-bay IMO. Nice looking cue but think its centre jointed. Most folk go for 3/4 split or 1pc nowadays. I see you're from Newcastle. Not sure if its close but Greenbeize in Cleveland are well worth a visit. Lots of cues in stock and you'll get some great advice and the chance to "feel and touch" before you buy. Far better than trusting to luck on e-bay.

In the past I have brought a few Cues from Welshpool Trading and they have been excellent value for money and much admired, only problem is I cannot find Paul now
