  • My hello thread!

Hi there snookering community. I've decided to finally make my first post to get rid of that annoying message...

My name's Quince, I try to play weekly and my highest break is 51. I signed up to get some helpful hints/advice regarding cues and general gameplay. I've been poking around the info on current threads and have found some useful information.

Hope this forum will continue to be useful despite my presence

    Quince

thanks for the welcomes guys. a very international collection of messages indeed.

i would normally be playing snooker tonight but no-one feels like playing. just treated my cue with linseed oil and am eager to play! not eager enough to go to the club on a saturday night and play alone though

                  Welcome
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman
