iv only realy just started playing snooker down my local club and just love the game. I was just wondering how the youth system works coz im 14 and am very interested in joining an academy or youth league somewhere around essex or dagenham thanks

I don't really know much as I'm from Scotland, but you could try www.englishsnooker.com, they have U21 regional tours as well as English U19, U16 and U14 Championships.

thanks mate had a look but nothing local. I play a lot of darts and they have
essex leagues for men,ladies and youth so i was just wondering if there was anything like that in snooker but in essex

Hi Al

Most snooker clubs have competitions for juniors. Go in or ring up and ask. I'll be surprised if you have to make more than two calls.
