  • Grand Prix Semi-finals – Results

Below are the provisional results of the Semi-Finals Prediction Contest for the Grand Prix.

Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 24 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered. (Please note that any queries are unlikely to be checked within a week while I am in Scotland; but they must nevertheless be raised within 48 hours.)

A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; 1 point for the correct winner with incorrect scoreline.

There was a 5-way tie for first place, which was resolved by way of the highest break predictions:
    Actual: 138
    JPK123: 130 (8 adrift)
    RaNeN: 148 (8 adrift)
    Scissors61: 128 (10 adrift)
    Kingscratcher: 121 (17 adrift)
    Nina: 114 (24 adrift)

With the top two still equal, it goes down to whomever posted their predictions the earlier – and JPK123 wins the tie-break on this basis.

Therefore, provisional congratulations to JPK123 for winning the round.

Please note also that drlog147 gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *)for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was Shaun Murphy’s 138.

    ScorePredictor
    3JPK123 (1st place)
    RaNeN (2nd place)
    Scissors61 (3rd place)
    Kingscratcher (4th place)
    Nina (5th place)

            Prediction on Predictions

I reckon April Madness and myself are near the top of the overall GP predictions. Anyone else have >60 pts?

Think tandeloze-tijd might have won it, been near the top in every round except the final predictions, but don't think that'll matter much

"tandeloze-tijd" does that translate to dark-horse?

                      He / she / it has 63 points - that'll win it.
