  • Welsh Round 3 – Results

Below are the provisional results of the Third Round Prediction Contest for the Welsh Open.

Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.

A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct scoreline; 1 point for correct winner with other scoreline.

Provisional congratulations to Kathrin for winning the round by two clear points – and also for being the only Predictor to get all eight match winners correct.

Note also that missneworleans and The Statman each gained an extra point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break, which was Shaun Murphy's 129.

That doesn't do my prospects of winning much good

But at least Ronnie is still in the draw after King's premature exit and will guarantee me some more points

Well done Kathrin - excellent predicting

Can't believe I'm in the top half of the table

                    Correction

Please note that it has come to my attention that the highesst break of the round was in fact 129 and not 114 as previously stated.

This means that two Predictors – missneworleans and The Statman – each receive a bonus point which was not originally shown above. The table has now been corrected.

                    Congratualtions to them both!

Thanks, that´s really a surprise for me as I was in such a hurry as I predicted that I just looked who´s playing who, who could win and then just typed any number for the opponent
Maybe I should stick to that manner of not thinking a lot about it, it worked out well
