Below are the provisional results of the Second Round Prediction Contest for the Shanghai Masters.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; one point for the correct winner with incorrect scoreline.
Please note that there was a three-way tie for first place, which was resolved as follows:
Number of correct match winners:
adrift ~ 7 matches with correct winner
spike ~ 8 matches with correct winner
crucible77 ~ 8 matches with correct winner
So onto the next criteria, which is the frame difference for the correctly predicted matches. Crucible77 was 14 frames out and Spike was only 12 frames out for the 8 matches.
Therefore, provisional congratulations to Spike for winning the round.
Please note also that The Boss gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round (and the whole tournament) which was Murphys 133.
