Ronnie praised Brown for winning and said he was a worthy winner and he played well himself ,that was straight after the match .Not sure what interview you saw .

That's the point Ronnie didn't play well, no where near it. In fact he was poor but if he had told the truth and said, yeah he won but I was awful, I missed balls I should pot in my sleep, he would have got slaughtered for it, so he gave the diplomatic PR response.

Well, in the end Ronnie stumbled over the finish line you have to say... I feel for Barry, this will hurt him. Going in-off in a decider against Ronnie with easy reds on is just awful. But he had his chances.

Good to watch, though. Looking forward to tomorrow's final, pretty sure Robertson will be tough to beat, considering the form he displayed lately... even for Ronnie.
