Well done Shaun Murphy. Played great in this tournament. That 147 was brilliant and that pot on the black was exceptional! I hope he brings this sort of form to the UK champs and beyond.

I just watched the 147 he made and he played it with
such confidence starting with the first red much like
Stephen Hendry used to do. Just see the shot and go
for it. The last black was indeed an excellent shot and
once he had the yellow it was a normal clear the colours.
It was great to watch and very deserving for Murphy to
be the one to get the 147 and the victory.Comment

Murphy just seems calm, collected and overall very confident in himself and its showing in his playing. Long potting has been excellent and potting in general superb.Comment
