and many thought neil would win this for sure. total garbage from neil. and that from a WN1 and in his so called peak he is getting spanked. beating ronnie is one thing, winning a final another

I wish it was JV. WT is the best and they have this clown Virgo on all finals day. He talks one load of crap.

For Robbo to win this. Well. It would be one of the best snooker comebacks of all time.

As far as i know, there are 8 of them and Murphy will be 9th. Robertson did as well.

    If he really tries, yes.

But then I won't be watching.

Just shake hands, Robbo, for f#^k's sake! I could've given him a better game with a fooking broom handle!!

I would say Robertson's performance today is probably down to the fact yesterday against Ronnie in his mind was his final.
He seems flat today, has not looked positive from the start, he's usually very dominant around the table and there has been very little of him strutting around like he owns the place.

Murphy has fed off that and played the same game as he has done all week and perhaps the draw has been more favourable because I doubt he'd have beaten O'Sullivan as he has a terrible record against him.
Murphy has been in form all season though so its no surprise he's playing so well in the final. Robertson has been very average by contrast and maybe needs to do more work to get his consistency back.

Whilst its disappointing to see a one sided final we've had plenty of those down the years so maybe we were due one. Quite often these days players are so evenly matched that a close match is almost always guaranteed but the semi's should have been a warning that this was a possibility.
The tournament itself though has been very enjoyable and that for me is more important than one great final and a lot of poor games in the other rounds.
