Shaun Murphy has withdrawn from the Championship League due to illness and has been replaced by Mark King.
I wonder if this will have any bearing on his match on Sunday?

I live in South London. But London being the size it is getting from one side to another can be a mission. Usually takes me about 75 minutes to get from the Ally Pally to my flat, but with Sunday travel it might take a bit longer. Match would have to be finished before half five for me to stand a chance of getting home for 7. Might happen, doesn't always.

Hoping for a Ronnie win. 2nd choice... probably Ding.
I'm hoping for a Ronnie win as well, I'll always be behind him all the way. Would be disappointed by a Selby win simply because he has started to become too slow for me, I like a bit more excitement from the game rather than constant safety shots. If not Ronnie then I'd probably pick Robertson as I quite enjoy watching him when he's in fine form.

i see it as a Selby or O'Sullivan to win it this year.
the Masters is usually a specialist Tournament and not many who are playing this year have won it.
O'Sullivan has met Selby in 3 finals over the last 6 years.
Selby has won it 3 times and been runner up twice while O'sullivan has won it 5 times and been runner up 5 times too. of the other players Ding and Robertson have 1 win and 1 runner each.
over the last 10 years one of these 4 players have won it only John Higgins has split them when he won it in 2006 beating Ronnie.
So unless there is a shock outcome i can only see one of the four mentioned as the winner, with Ronnie and Selby the more likely of the quartet .

Murphy can play some very good snooker as he
has shown recently but can he play well at a
major tournament like he has at the smaller ones.
Fu is due to have a good tournament and this
could be the one. Bingham is no easy opponent
tho so it will be a good match.

I think if Stuart continues to show that form he played at the end of 2014 he will be pretty hard to beat, it's a close call who will win this one as both players can be great, just depends what kind of form they're in on the day. Looking forward to it!

It's not a match that'll bring a lot of attention to itself, especially being on a Sunday night. But I think it could be enjoyable. I'd suggest that perhaps Bingham was showing more consistent form at this point in his career, but two very capable players who could both beat the other one. Hard to predict who'll win, and hard to dislike both players.

I'm going to The Masters on Monday 12 January 2015 with a few lads from our snooker league, managed to snap up some All Day Tickets when they were half price in the summer and pretty pleased with the matches that we will be seeing;
Judd Trump v Stephen Maguire (at 1pm)
Neil Robertson v Robert Milkins (at 7pm)
I like the way both Judd and Neil play the game. Was never a Judd fan until recently when he seems to be taking a bit more time over his shots and not hitting the cue ball quite so hard...still occasionally has his 'lampshade larry' moments then don't we all!
