        Why of course?

I've been to Wembley old and new, Twickenham, Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. (Though, that was to watch boxing.) Various snooker venues all over the country. I've certainly never been to a sporting event that provides the atmosphere of The Crucible.

Maybe the greatest in this country?

How long before Captain Birdseye becomes female?

It happened on the Admiral Insurance adverts.

or the old Hampden park, pick from a few ,

1960 European cup final Real Madrid vs Eintracht Frankfurt 130,000 in attendance,

Rangers vs Celtic atmosphere at the Scottish cup final 1969 with 132,870 in attendance,

Celtic vs Leeds United 1970 European cup semi final with 136,505 in attendance ,

Scotland vs England in 1937 with 147,365 official attendance with 20,000 more who entered the ground without tickets
( how you get an EXTRA 20,000 in without tickets, who knows ) !!

That must have been something to behold.
