A fantastic session of snooker. They only needed half the match to tie the record, and surely there will be at least one more century to break it now.

It will be interesting to see how Ding responds to this, because McManus really has put the pressure on in the last four frames. I think Ding might end up regretting that poor shot on the last red, when he looked a certainty to clear up for 10-5. Or perhaps not, it could be forgotten pretty quickly if he starts the evening session as well as he did the first two. Looking forward to it.

Must admit, I never saw this coming, I thought Ding might win with a session to spare. Well done Alan, game on!

Ding has only scored five iirc. Could be wrong though.

Edit: From what i can remember, ding got 4 tons in the 1st session. He has won 3 frames in this session, with one century plus breaks of 97 and 94, so only 5 centuries.

I think McManus is in from a stern talking to from Willie Thorn after this frame .

Seems to have played the wrong shot all the time.

    As he will constantly remind us now. . . . . .

I notice Ding is not having the cue ball cleaned every other shot, was that done just to throw Trump off ?

Looks like the tartan trousers are doing the trick. 9 - 5 now.
