Ever since he lost in the 2014 final, I've never felt like ROS would win another world title. No idea why, just a feeling. He'll win other tournaments for sure though.

Selby can really kick on and win several more though. I could see him surpassing Higgins in terms of majors won. He only needs 2 more world titles and another UK to overtake him.

Likely to happen in the first instance, doubtful the latter. I'm a big tennis fan/player myself, and out of the big 4 (2 now) Djoko is my favourite. Lots of secondary players I support too though like Dolgopolov, having watched him live he's an interesting player with his technique, Fognini is an entertainer too, has a 'go for it whatever' attitude though so he'll never make the most of his talent

Well you wouldn't advise him to change it so far, would you?

I find Selby incredibly irritating to watch, i don't think I've ever seen a player with such a robotic cue action, no fluency in it whatsoever, but it works for him i suppose.

Well done to Selby, unfortunately the first session really messed up Ronnie which is unsual to see as he 90% of the time gets ahead with the easy misses but I'm happy to see Ronnie fight back and make a match of it. Whatever happens I know for a fact he's gonna win a title or more very soon.

Selby proved my point that he's the new John Higgins - no need for scrappy, horribly drawn-out stuff tonight, just a perfect mix of safety exchanges, luck and breakbuilding. Wonderful stuff.

I still wouldn't pay to watch Selby unless the opponent made for an interesting match, but he's been proving since his first run to the world final that he can breakbuild with the best of them.

Excellent final from both players. Great to see that Selby finally seems to be getting more of the respect he deserves.

Two top class players giving it everything they had. Makes me proud to say snooker is my favourite sport.
    could'nt agree more with this.
great performance from both. attacking snooker. No scrapy frames. well deserved win for Selby.
As a fan of ROS , I can'nt believe I'm saying this, though.
