  • Mark Williams v Peter Ebdon. Sight Right and MW BlackSpin.

    So I have been watching Mark Williams v Peter Ebdon play at Riga, and noticed a couple of things;

    The commentator (Hendon?) mentioned Mark Williams has been using the SightRight system recently.

    I also saw Ebdon appeared to have a BlackSpin ferrule on his cue.

    Are these new for these guys? Or have they been using them for a while?

    Ebdon has the Stamford Zenith ferrule - not MW's Blackspin - he has had it from a few years now (since 2013(?)), Stamford don't offer it anymore.

    Last I heard MJW had a JP cue (since mid 2016(?)), after trying out an Acuerate cue (2013-2016(?)); interesting to see how he fairs with a SightRight
    Up the TSF!

      Thanks, I've not heard of the Zenith ferrule.

        Surely he has been using it to have the cue in the right place across his face, ie practice rather than in matches?

            Or about to get serious again after missing out on the WC?

              It was only a short match, but he appeared to have a lot more in the tank than Ebdon...
