Ron showing every club player true grit stuff tonight. He's had no where near his normal touch. No where near his normal form and very low on luck until now.... Always worth hanging in. Luck generally proves itself to having two sides. Sometimes it's just a question of time how that will balance out....

Well done to Murphy. One of my faves. Unlucky for ROS, it happens. He'll probably go out early in Shanghai next week. As long as he's in form for the UK.

Id have to say that's is a positive result for snooker in general. If we continue to see that no one can stand their ground and build on their luck and Good form no one younger will believe it's possible to floor giants.
Well done Shaun and well done Ron for truly looking like there was nothing in the tank but still grinding a match out of it.
