I hope you mean moustache-beard Dean, because the other is on the disgusting side. Loving his sartorial elegance though.

Strange match that, good fun though. Jacks potting was awful, but his safety game was very good and kept him in the match. Neil played well overall and deserved the win, here's hoping for a return to the old style Robbo.

            enjoyable final
some good safety play but that did mean that JL did not get into his flow early on.
            well done Robbo
            and well done Jack
hopefully a stepping stone to success this season

Neil is back to winning ways. Hope to see his game more in this form.

It will be interesting to see if Robertson will climb back to old form now.
Also a very promising result for Jack Lisowski. He will knock on the door of the Top 16 this season.
I think this tournament showed as well that Ricky Walden is on his way back.

Very good result for Lisowski but somehow, I was disapointed by his final. I thought he fell again in his bad habits of going for silly shots at the wrong moment. Should have done better but maybe some tension for his first ranking final also, which is understandable. However, he's back on a better track and that's a good news.

I found Robbo very impressive all weekend long. Solid potting, confident, great safety play. He too looks back to business.

Is Neil using a JPU 1 piece?

Same here, I was hoping for better from him, especially after he played so well against Mags. But as you say, he seemed to revert to type, frustrating. I get the same thing with Brecel, I thought maybe he'd turned a corner after a good tournament and final against Murphy in the China Championship last year, but he just got worse as the season went on. On the bright side, I'm pleased to see Kyren Wilson making steady progress, but where are the rest of the youngsters who are supposed to be challenging the old guard??
