well done Lyu for getting through to the final.
I thought Hamilton would have come back but not to be

Selt and Lyu in their first ranking event final - both only ever been in a final in a minor events - so new ground for both and a new ranking winner name assured

I'd argue that this is also a minor (ranking) event though.

Are the Eurosport Player issues happening for everybody? Cutting in and out. Showing the match as completed, etc. Terrible.

Do those even exist any more? I thought they did away with that once the Euro and Asian events stopped being held. I agree with you. This and the Shootout shouldn't be classified as full ranking events.

yep, I knew it as I was writing, being only BO7 all the way through (at least to SF) - just like the old PTC, Euro and Asian tour events

This has been happening every day and very very often!
seen on twitter that Eurosport do know about it, but nothing has been fix though it is a right pain!
I think it is at the Indian end where the problem is.

The events that you mean don't exist any longer. But nowadays basically every tournament is a ranking event. And there is sadly no differentiation between the ranking events any longer. I personally consider the Paul Hunter Classic, the Riga Masters and the Indian Open due to their format as minor events and the sames counts to a lesser extent for the other events in Best-of-7-format like the events of the Home Nations Series. The Shootout I even don't rate as a ranking event at all.
