Gone are the days when the qualifiers could not play. Li Hang hitting breaks against Graeme, including a 133, currently 4-2 up.

Ding hasn't even been playing too badly. Sometimes you just run into first round upsetter.

Ding is in a bit of trouble, 1-3 down against Maflin.

With Williams and now possibly Ding going out, the two big favourites of the top quarter would be out of the picture. That could leave the draw open for the likes of Hendry, Lee, O'Sullivan or Day.

That's got to be in the top-5 best of nine matches of all time.

Williams four and a half centuries, and lost. lol

    Phenomenal clearance by Lee.

I have to agree that the Williams/Lee match is the best best of 9 match I've ever seen. Both players played great, both played with a decent attitude and calm around the table and some shots were exhibition stuff. Fantastic snooker to view live and I consider myself lucky not to have missed it like so many others

He gets the prize for the best loser ever!

Adding that to Stevens lowest points ever record in a best-of-9 match, ain't that the happiest start of the tournament for you?

Seems like all the signs point that Ronnie is destined to win
