Good start from Selby, but i just hope that Ken can do himself justice as he done so well to qualify for this event.

I hope Mark Davis has gained a lot of confidence from his win ready for his next match, to me confidence is the only thing that is keeping him back, the talent is surely there. It's the same with many players out there though, Mark is used to the confines of pontanamobay, completley different to venues.

Absolutely, the TV factor was what made me think that Fu would win really, rather than form.

Yes Davis has played well recently there is no denying that, but i just find it more suprising in the fact that Davis does not usually fare to well when playing on tv, and more often than not normally would normally succumb to the standard of someone like Marco Fu..

I'm not totally shocked by the result as Mark has been playing very well for a while now and Marco hasn't impressed me recently, but I think it is always a surprise when the world number 8 and 2007 champion loses to the 47th ranked player.
