Peter Ebdon will have his chance to gain revenge on Crucible champ Graeme Dott when they go head-to-head in the Pot Black Cup.

Dott beat Ebdon 18-14 in the final of the 888.com World Snooker Championship in May and today's draw for the Pot Black Cup produced a rematch.

The one-frame knockout event takes place on Saturday, September 2 at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, London.

Defending champion Matthew Stevens faces a tough opener against John Higgins.

Last year's world champion Shaun Murphy faces Mark Williams, and the last quarter-final brings together the world's top two ranked players as Stephen Hendry meets Ken Doherty.

    Quarter-finals draw:
    John Higgins v Matthew Stevens
    Graeme Dott v Peter Ebdon
    Shaun Murphy v Mark Williams
    Stephen Hendry v Ken Doherty

The result of each match is best judged by tossing a coin, regardless of who plays who.

With a little luck, I could win Pot Black
