        So, up first, Ding Junhui vs Mark Williams.

        On paper, this looks like the tie of the round, slightly edging out Maguire vs O'Sullivan..

          This is a really tough match to call, though I think Williams will just edge past Ding. Would have preferred if this match was put on last, but never mind..

            I think it is possibly because they did not want to put Ronnie's game and this match in the same session in an attempt to split the interest over the course of the day..

            I agree with your idea. A really close game should be expected, but Williams is the one who looks likely to prevail in such situations with his current performance.

                      I thought he had a chance after fluking the red early on in the frame but he missed the pink

                      Ding is playing really well & Mark is totally out of sorts
