  • Side rail bolt holes

Hi everyone, I'm replacing my cushions, does anyone have advice for drilling new holes in the slate and securing the nuts. Thank you.

Why on earth would you want to attempt that. Far easier to re-bore the cushions

Are you going to steels? Just asking as some tables only have five bolts and you need six for steels
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Steels and wood cushions both can have either 5 or 6 holes ,older pre 1980’s tables generally have 6 bolts on top and bottom rails and 5 on the side rails ,Burroughs and Watts tables were set like that on their tables .If you’ve got dished or broken slates on an old table then buying new slates is a problem as most have 6 holes on all sides ,so the cushions won’t fit .
