  • the best cue maker to deal with.

so who in people's views, are the very best cue makers to deal with.

the most friendly, easiest to communicate with, when you ask a question, you dont have to wait a lifetime for an answer, and you get the exact cue you wanted.

simply put, the nicest guys to deal with.

i've heard some very good things about tony wilshaw.

any of you had any dealing with him?

    thanks.

I only had an experience with Robin Cook. And he is "the most friendly, easiest to communicate with, when you ask a question, you dont have to wait a lifetime for an answer, and you get the exact cue you wanted".
You cannot improve your game if you don't have a cue and snooker table
    BTW vucko means wolfie

I don't know how anyone can state "the most friendly", etc,,,,,, if they have only dealt with one, like me. My only experience is with Mike Wooldridge, and the experience went very smoothly and timely. Could not be more satisfied with the deal or the cue. I will buy another cue eventually, and it will be another MW.

I've only dealt with tony glover and am dealing with trevor at the moment both are great very friendly sometimes you dont get a response straight away by email but thats understandable - being busy and having a life other than makin cues its to be expected really but cant fault trevor so far.

It is very hard for Most Poeple to Answer this Question as they may not have Dealt with more than 1 or 2 People.

I have to Admit I have Dealt with Many Cue Makers....lol....And Trevor White always produces Top Quality Cues his wait is alittle long sometimes due to His high Command of Quality Cues.

Dave and Simon Brown also very Nice people at Craftsman Cues and very helpful, Stuart at Greenbaize another cracking Guy who tries to help you if he can I could go on all day...ha ha

Andrew(Adr147) a Good Friend of mine also very Helpful if your looking for a Certain Cue & Specs etc as he deals alot with Cues/Accessories he isn't a Top Cue Maker but he does deals with them all

              Gaz.

                      Tony Glover & Robin Cook

As for me, i have contacted several UK cuemakers over the mails.

I will have to say that Robin cook is the fastest & most interactive i have ever dealt with. He will answer all your queries within a few hrs if he is free. I haven't own a RC but i have played with a few which my frds owned. His cue is usually shaft heavy with thick taper (i prefers normal tapering).

                      The next will be Tony Glover;
He is man of few words. He will answer all your queries in the simplest form (straight to the point). He will get your order complete in with his best and quickest possible time. You will not be disappointed with his work.
He is always spot-on to your requirements.

I highly recommend Tony Glover & Robin Cook.

Sorry to hijack the thread, Willy- what is taper(ing)? i've seen this many times on the forum but never got around to asking...

Back to the opening post, I have spoken to Robin and Trevor before and both were really helpful, Robin was much faster at communicating though but I guess thats because his workshop is at home

Kevin at North West Cues.... He makes great cues at realist prices for the average working man to pay and you get what you ask for!
