  • anyone heard of this?

    hi all

just seen this on you tube

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOWZ1...eature=related

supposed to help people who havent got a vertical cuing arm, i myself used to suffer from the ' chicken wing' cueing arm which was cured after few years of coaching

maybe with this problems could be sorted quicker, what are your opinions?

I've just made one by looping some rubber bands together and it actually feels quite nice cueing with it in front of the mirror - so I've put it in my cue case and will try playing with it next time I go down the snooker club ... should give my mates a good laugh if nothing else

maybe some solo practice first see if it works, seems a good idea though, needs more fine tuning though me thinks

Absolute nonsense in my opinion, because you can push the cue thro straight even if your arm is not vertical. (Reardon, Cope).

also there are other reasons and better ways of getting your arm vertical, related to your stance. locking points etc etc.,
The cue would also feel lighter and people laugh
If you must try it out then wait until you break your arm even then I'd rather just make one like DandyA
