I am a right handed player, I can barely hit the cue ball left handed never mind pot anything but I always use the rest left handed. I am a left handed writer, play all racket sports left handed but play golf and darts right handed.

I am right handed for everything but was two footed when I played football, but that was only because I actually practised hard and learned to use my left foot.

When I boxed as a boy I took the usual right handed boxer stance (leading with the left with the right hand cocked and loaded), had a great left jab (tall and thin with long arms) and a strong right cross and left hook to the body but a weak left cross to the head.
I could switch to southpaw with a strong right jab and left hook to the body but something in the co-ordination left me with the left cross to the head so I very rarely did so.

In snooker I am almost totally right handed, can't use my left at all in the normal way, but a few years ago when I was having trouble with the rest I switched to my left hand and found that I was pretty decent with it, but went back to my right hand when I found a new grip and technique that worked better.

Arguably best ever rest player is Jimmy White - a lefty ...who plays with the rest....left handed.

Second best rest player ....Shaun Murphy a righty ... who plays with the rest....right handed...go figure !

I play snooker well with my left hand and not so well right handed. Just the occasional easy shot rather than getting the jigger. I always use the jigger with my left hand on the cue.

I can only write with my left hand. But I can play tennis/ping pong with either hand. I serve right handed and then can swap between my left/right hand during rallies. I can play darts (badly) with either hand.

As they say I would give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Being a lefty and I have OCD to boot I am very pleased that my brain is likely to be symmetrical!

I'm a bit odd like Judd Trump and maybe some others on here, I play snooker/pool and throw a ball left handed, but I write, throw darts and kick a football etc. right handed. I play right handed with the rest.
