      Anyone remember the Spitting Image bit about Steve Davis when they were discussing his nickname? Very funny. I blame Rob Walker for all this nonsense, lol.

            Yeah I think they should bring it back too - don't see too many snooker stars getting the Mickey taken out of them these days on TV - Davis took it all in good heart and I think maybe this helped change his image for the better - people love him now.

                              Widnes Warrier - might be Andrew Higgonson as he's from Widnes but I've never heard him called this before.
                              PS in the early days Steve Davis used to be referred to as "The Plumstead Potter" on account of where he lived. Once he started playing at Romford and got involved with Barry Hearn he morphed into "The Nuggett".
