      some how I doubt u got a 147 A 143 I can see but not a 147. My higgest break is a lousy 63 but I quite regulary knock in 50's and 60's.

My Higgest break on Isnooker is 99 which annoyed the hell out of me cause there where no balls left on the table after that.

Redguy, be careful what you say; especially when your logic's ill-founded that you believe taz can get a 143 but getting only 4 extra blacks for a maximum is impossible. There are juniors that aren't even teenagers knocking in centuries - I'd suggest you congratulate taz before the Mods need to 'av a word - find out what level he's played at and what makes him tick.

Agreed, you don't need to have the "Professional" status to make a 147

Redguy. If you look at what I said..it says a 147 in PRACTISE. It was a practise match m8. I played with a guy named Russ Schuster who played in England on the proam circuit. He played many matches with Dennis Taylor, Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis and John Parrot just to mention a few. So yes I can play. The best attribute of my game is cueball control. With great cueball control high breaks are quite easy. I used to play at the Embassy club here in Coquitlam BC (suburb of Vancouver) where Marco Fu played when he was in high school. He went to Charles Best school and played there when he wasn't in school. He was being coached at that time by Tommy Lee. Another great player.

You don't have to be a PRO to run a 143 or a maximum

btw: oh ya Thanks Reverse Side and Insanity-rulez

I agree cos I know a few people that can knock in centuries bvut to become a professional you need consistancy. This means winning enough to sustain a living I guess.

Redguy it's not impossible for everyday folk to get a 147 - obviously you have to be pretty good and handle pressure. If you can believe 143 then why not perfection?

Mine's 35 - not quite as high as some, but I'm still proud of it.

You can't fluke a 35 break. You can have an easy 35 break but you can't fluke one

I never said it was a fluke.

I know, I was pointing out that to get a 35 break you have to be a reasonable player - now go get a 50

OK, fair enough - thank you! It might take me a little while to get a 50 though.

keep practising pinks into the middle pocket and a 50 will happen sooner or later
