some of these are very good. I may change my answers just to look as clever in my thinking as you lot.

Unfortunately that would be wrong so still no correct answers.

Seriously though the salad one especially is easy. Think ingredients people.

well there have been some imaginative guesses since i've been away but the only correct one added is that Stevenson is John Parrott. Well done that man.

So we now have a line up of:

    John Parrott vs King Arthur

    Salad vs Bryan Adams

    Nigel Bond vs John Higgins

    Steve Davis vs David Roe

So David Vine's mind is almost back to full capacity.

Now this is taking the game to another level

'RL Stevenson > His father built lighthouses > Passage of ships > Ports > Hull > Robin Hull'

Bryan Adams > Summer of '69 > Joe Swail, who was born on August 29, 1969.

RL Stevenson > His father built lighthouses > Passage of ships > Ports > Hull > Robin Hull

Salad > Green > Graeme Dott, who removed the green ribbons on the trophy before parading it at Ibrox

    Nul points!
