Is the cue craft Buxton a good cue?

I have known several people with this cue and from what I've seen it's Ok for the price. I would recommend ,if buying it, that you re-finishing it though as the finish which comes as standard is horrendous. Hope that helped

        In short

Remove all the varnish, sand smooth, raw linseed oil, buff, raw linseed oil, buff, raw linseed oil, buff.

If you are uncomfortable with these then get a cue maker to do it, its relatively cheap.

I think it's better to get something that was oil finished to start, even if it has to be a machine spliced cue. Craftsman have some fairly cheap machine spliced master cues with a nice finish.
