    Just watched his match against Reardon from the 1983 World Championship. Great pot on the black by Reardon to make it all square..

      It's a wonder Alex ever potted owt, the amount of movement on some of his shots.....having seen him play a few times, i can confirm he potted a few.

                    I have some VHS tape footage where Hendry (I think) made a tremendous 7 frame comeback. On two occasions Tony snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory and uttered the statement I remember to this day: 'anyone got a rope?'

                    Rumour has it he snapped the cue afterward.

                    OK lol. Forget all that. The game was Hendry vs Hallett 1991 Masters Final
