What a terrible shame to suggest that someone has
been dishonest and cheated without having solid and
indisputable facts to back up their words.

Yes there is plenty of 'fixing' in all sports however
    not everyone cheats.

I wonder if the apology was a result of threatened legal action or if they did it out of the goodness of their hearts?

      Hmmmm.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
      I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

The Sunday Star rushes in with brutal efficiency, and clears the matter up only two years after claiming it.

I bet the story wasn't a piddly one paragraph when it was printed, unlike that poor excuse for an apology.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Bloody newspapers fabricating news just to sell.
If its true then fair enough, but when its false then its immoral. But I guess tabloid journalists don't hav any morals, just pound signs in their eyes
