The TUCA teaches me to concentrate on hitting the white on the exact spot where I intended during aiming/feathering, and this has helped my potting success, more over, improved confidence, and also knowing what to concentrate on when delivering.

Good stuff and thank you Jason!

The exact same idea me granddad told me of as he placed an empty bottle of milk on its side onto the table back in 1962

C'mon Jason okay your younger than me admit it your dad did the same for you with a pop bottle didn't he, and your just milking £15 out of the mugs now.

not quite, bit more to the tuca.. and each one of these devices is made by me, milking each player for minimum wage

        • ok 3 pop bottles sellotaped together gives you the same 3 target holes. It's not what it's made of, it's not what it costs you to make, it's a tool for tools I find so sad.

It's on a par with the one and only g-teed way to lose weight that as kids we would have sold on ebay had it been around back then. you know the one where the mug pays out £x and gets an email back saying: "Eat less you fat git"

C'mon mate stop laughing at them, stand up like a man and tell them all they've bought an idea and that they have wasted £15.

Better still stop making them and come back later and say you have a great idea to improve your game. Give any amount to any charity and you'll tell them what it is.

If your really so bad off you want to earn minimum wage go round a cobblers and get some offcuts . I'll send you a dot punch. I reckon you have a hammer don't you?

          • btw you know I'm only winding you up don't you?
I'm Just playing devils advocate, I'm jealous really should have thought of it myself there's plenty who'd pay 30 for it.

Now if John Parris or Mike had of thought of it what do you reckon they would have charged?

              • So is your next tip...

When you make a cuppa for one fill the kettle to the top, it wastes electric and takes 5 times the time to boil but it sure helps with the tuca practicing.

all you need is a little kettle half full, tuca on the kitchen work top, and the will to train

                    • Is your worktop the same height as a snooker table?

Wouldn't you be better off with the ironing board? Adjustable height and room to bridge the normal distance from CB.

I enjoy watching your videos by the way.

i think most worktops are an inch or so higher than a snooker table, though thats never stopped me taking the same technique to ether surface. but tuca will give a player a demanding workout on any work surface
good to hear your enjoying the videos, there will be more over the coming weeks..

                            • I finally found some kind of setup and cue action that's getting me quite good on my DIY TUCA, even took it onto a match table for about a frame before it collapsed into the usual rubbish

I can only get through it cleanly when I'm looking at it though, if I try and focus on a point behind it I just end up fishing it out from behind the radiator, I suppose that's the next step.
