Thanks chaps ... yea sorry I haven't been posting lately but you guessed it right, normal day job has been keeping me busy, then life creeps in a demands some of my time as well, we all know how that goes but as time allows I've been working away on cues and repairs, I didn't release or appreciate how many local cue repairs land on the doorstep once word gets around that there's a cue builder in your area lol.
Anyways here's a couple o' customer cues I finished just before Christmas.
This one is a bit different in that the shaft was Birdseye Maple with the figuring running the fully length of the cue, photos don't really do it justice, viewed physically the Birdeyes are very 3D and look like water drops on the wood.
And this one is a blend of Ebony and Pale Moon Ebony.
Currently working on Fred's.
Oh yea ... Happy New Year
My new cue arrived today and I have to say it looks fantastic, Jim is a top class craftsman. The finish is silky smooth and the cue feels so solid, going to smash a few balls about with it tonight. I'll do some pics if i'm not too drunk.
Another member on here recommend jim to myself but his back order is until next year at least so you'll be waiting a while I'm afraid I'm gonna take the abben reddy route
