Last week i sent my final payment off to Stamford so i can get my long awaited (12 weeks) sexy leather cue case which will replace my outdated and battered CC case

Does anyone know if there are any longer (extended) versions of pool cue cases for snooker cues (3/4 jointed - longer shaft)? With all the padding, it looks very well protected, would be nice to see a snooker version.

I really don't like those pool cases. I have seen them before and they seem to be the popular style of case for American pool but I don't like them at all!

I used to use a similiar case, made by a case maker from Florida called Jack Justis. But after I started playing snooker, I no longer think these type of cases are cool.
I see a lot of people carry such a big bag for the game of 9 ball--a jump cue, one break cue (some with two shafts), one playing cue(2 original shafts, and one 314 shaft, and one OB shaft...) --that is 2 butt with 7 shafts!
I prefer the clean and simple look of a single snooker case, I think it looks much more elegant and classy.
The American cue cases in the link reminds me of someone trying very hard to look fashionable throwing all sorts of bells and whistles on himself, but just ends up looking ridiculous.
Just my own preference.

I personally do not like that western style cue cases. I have a really nice leather one from Crispian and a really old and damaged ally case from the eighties. I like both of them and I dream of something like this for a snooker cue:

What would be the budget you need from me for it?
But before that I try to get a carbon fibre case but the guy from fibrecases is not repsonding.

i can get the glass fibre cases. budget depends on quality and time - i would ask glover.

Yes, the glass fibre cases are available, but carbon fibre combined with aluminum or titanium would be extremely cool.

Well, more expensive than the cue, I think.
But there is that aluminum lass fibre compund used for the body of the Airbus A 380. That might be "cheaper" but also nice.
