The thing is Neil, as you know the 1Gs are only TC but grouped for a set range of only 1g difference.
So you will need to get a white ball that is in your range, so I think a few phone calls may be in order to ask what weight they have
You may become very "popular" with some people... good luck mate :P

Weighed my balls lol, 140 all of them except the white which was 141 and two reds which are 139 , and 141, so that's not bad nearly as good as a set of 1gs. Don't know if anyone will be interested in this but was having a wee think about what to carry them around in , the box is in good condition but won't last long on it's own, then I had a brain wave and got an old laptop bag out placed the box in and it fits nicely, as it's only to go from the house to the car and then into the club this will do me fine.

that is a very good range
if the laptop bag is the type where the zip goes round on three sides, it means the cardboard box itself does not need to be removed too much and is protected and will last a lot longer, and if it has a shoulder strap, even better to carry

That's exactly the type of bag it is Dean, the same seller has an unused new set for sale, obviously it can't comment on the weight range but I would say they will be in pristine condition as mine are and they were advertised as used.

Not yet ,will be in tomorrow, I think they will take me some time to get used to them, I don't really like playing with them on league night, but I can see that's the way it's going so I better just get my head down and get used to them.

Update on the new balls, only had one kick in six hours of play,( slow follow through shot on pink into bottom bag) that is amazing compared to the club balls. I find the cue ball hard to keep hold of, I have to hit a fraction lower on stun and screw but it seems to travel further on follow throughs, I'm guessing it's because of the weight difference between TCs and premiers, there also seems to be a more solid contact between balls, although I could be making that up ,I'm not sure ,it's just how it feels.

Neil, did you get your 1G ball? Was thinking if you phoned Chesworth Cues in Sheffield they might be able to help. The guy there is really helpful. He sells ordinary white TC's but I'm pretty sure if you told him the weight you wanted he'd take the time to weight the ones he's got in the shop and see if one was correct weight. Guys name is Martin.

I don't have any scales to weigh the balls ......No big deal but i think that the white has slightly discoloured .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !
