Wrong. Barry Hawkins had used a John Parris Classic for 26 years up until 2020. He now uses a 1 piece cue, also made by John Parris.

I‘m asking myself which tips the top 16 uses nowadays. Especially the market of single layer tips developed massive in the past years.
I read John Higgins uses triple crown tips and judd played a AP exotic tip from Andrew Pagett.
Mark Selby played the cc tips G3 for some time.
Mark Williams has his own tips made by Legend. K. Wilson played them too.

Be nice to know eh Paul. I'm guessing the players won't openly say because they don't want to give free endorsement and may also change their minds at any time.

I still can't see why in open forum they couldn't share their experiences with different tips. It's a minefield on the tip market and experienced pros giving insights to what they use and how they relate differently to what they used in the past would not only be really helpful, but interesting too.

Surely all of that would help the snooker supplies market and the game in general....!?
