Think I bought another 4 or 5 boxes after trying them and will be buying more.
Have been given a couple of the grand one to try and will put one on next.
If I don't like it, I can put one of the others straight on.

Grand tips are In term of quality different from elks ,though .
              they are pressed fibre tips.
My brother used them for a while. Good tips. they bite the CB very well.

Agree with Andy. The trouble is, it's hard to find a good elk.
For elks fan, i would advise to buy a elk pro. More expensive but much better and more consistent, imo.

Hmmm got given a couple of Elks and the plan was to give them a go next. Going by the massive TSF i might have to rethink that.

lol , that would be much easier than finding couple of good elks !!

Only pressed tip I would use is a Med Grand.
However these hard Nili's are something else. Can't see me changing to another tip for a long long time.

They were my best tip. Banged down to about 3.5mm. Loved em. Long gone sadly, I live in fear now of a new maker saying they've reinvented them but want a tenner for one. Used to be 25p in the sports shop I bought my Patrick Keegan kings from! Lol.

A m8 of mine said, about the same as sniper in term of playability.
I have Tiger soft on my maple cue at the moment . plays very well , yet i miss abit power with stun RT shots .
After this one , gonna give Nili's a try .

I used to play with pressed tips all the time . Since i switched to this club cue , LM tips are the way to go for me .

                                Yep
Some years ago ADR found an old box at the back of his cupboard either 80s or 90s but they were only 9mm. I got some for my pool cue and they are great. I only use them for my own never for anyone else:wink:
Only two left though, should have bought more at the time
                                Up the TSF! :snooker:
