Where have you sent it and what changes are you after?

I remember the pictures.
Are you after just a ebony butt or some splices?
Would have thought that a 55" 18oz would have some lead in it.

Just to have the current butt lengthened via 4 secondary ebony splices, had it done to another 3/4 a few years back by parris cues and its very hard to tell it was lengthened. There's a few options floating around from drilling out lead to taking a few inches off the current butt and doweling light wood in as a core for the secondary splices so its not ebony the whole way through reducing the added weight.

Id be thrilled if it came out only slightly heavier than it is now, maybe 18.5 max but all depends on the weight of the wood etc. They should receive it tomorrow so i'm going to call tomorrow afternoon and see what he thinks can be done.

I laugh at the photos in this as I now have the "v" bed jig they use in my workshop.

i'm going to have a guess and say between 1990 to 1993.

I remember having one of these , I went down to the elephant and castle in 1989 I think I got it then.

the shopping centre, I got a taxi from kings cross to e/c seen will and bought a black plate, I was young first time in london so got a taxi back to kings cross and waited there for my train home..cueless as it was to be made.
