    Ask him yourself he just posted in this thread a few posts earlier. Both the cues from him that I've owned were one piece cues but I believe his 3/4 cues have either brass or stainless steel joints depending on the model you buy.

                  You are Carl? I wondered about that. So they are Chinese made then. I've seen a few LP cues with these joints and they're good. Ash is fine too. Prefer the ADR badges though.

                    No - Carl does not like me! I have had cues made in China and Thailand and Taiwan - the ones with these joints are from Thailand. LP cues in my experience are very mixed. some good some bad - I have seen the ones they did for Mike Russell and they were great but I think they were about £800 each!

                      Carl once threatened to come up to Scotland and sort me out after I pointed out he was selling fake cues on Ebay, I gave him my address, as my misses pointed out, it is a long way to travel for a slap!

                        This thread has been massively helpful. I am in the process of talking to Andrew about a cue. Seems like a decent chap and looking forward to trying out one of his cues.
