Dude, he is a "scientist", don't doubt him. Hahaha. Nevermind about the balancing point. It doesn't really matter now.

      B) actually. I measured the cues with my mobile phone built in mass spectrometer, ultrasound device and laser goniometer.

what it does is takes a perfect 3D model of the cues, measuring the density and geometry of each specific wood splice.

then it is very easy to calculate mass, length, balance point and so on...

And yeah, just to dam up you MW cue drivel: YES, his old air lock joint became lose. The cue sounded as if the shaft was cracked/damaged, but I was lucky and it could be fixed (easily for him, as MW told me).

Of course I measured the balance point myself. I'm a scientist, I can do that.

Why do you not like airlocks? I personally like them... They are strong, well designed, and make a "phut" sound when you unscrew them

But in the end a joint is a joint

Because (I think) my previous 3/4 airlock joint cue has caused my cue butt splices crack. I don't know, but the feeling was not right (the shaft and the butt were likely from two different part of cues). No matter what, I have fobia using this type of joint now.

Maybe, the cue manufacturer itself is a lousy cue maker as well. I only managed to use it about 3 to 4 frames before I noticed the splices cracked.

I like it when you said the "phut" sound thing...hahaha...a very cool way to explain it..
