          • Thank you!

I got them all used, the Wooldridge cue first, and I might stick with it as my playing cue, just because it feels so good.

The two Trevor White cues I bought from Mr.O (TSF forum member).

The Wooldridge cue's joints became lose about 2 months ago (a problem that can occur with the old joints, according to Mike). I sent it to him, he fixed the joint problems and changed them to his new model, which give to cue a one-piece look now.
In the same occasion, I had the butt thinned to 28 1/4 mm (was about 28.8 before), because I prefer it like this. (The cue lost a few grams of weight, but it's barely noticeable. Either the ebony removed doesn't make a big difference, or the new joints are heavier to compensate).

I'm really looking forward to get my made to measure cue from Mike.

                      1) How do you know their balancing points? You yourself measured? How? Or you just simply ask the cue maker?; &

                      2) Mike's old joint bacame lose? You mean the airlock joint?

I told you before. MW still the best.
                      My cueing sucks

                      • lol yeah, MW should be embarrassed enough about his old badge to auto-change it every time he's got a chance to...

but then, I don't mind by now...

                        • on a related note....... im really really curious as to which cue mike and trevor uses.....
as in, what are their own playing cues?

i wont be surprised that they leave the best shafts and wood to themselves because (and when i say this, i think i represent some people around here too) i would do the same

And I told you before why you don't qualify to judge...

And yeah, just to dam up you MW cue drivel: YES, his old air lock joint became lose. The cue sounded as if the shaft was cracked/damaged, but I was lucky and it could be fixed (easily for him, as MW told me).

Of course I measured the balance point myself. I'm a scientist, I can do that.

ah, but did you employ the method of balancing the cue on your finger, or did you calculate its centre of gravity? I think that was what Brendan was asking...

                                I don't care..I still want to judge...okay...no arguement....hahaha

I used to have 3/4 cue with air lock joint. They call it "popped joint" here. well, sad but true enough, this type of joint is sucks...

Don't forget one of your cue...you know what I mean...hehehe
