Too late, he already lost in the final of that one.

Joking aside, it's a big loss for the tournament. Hopefully it's not anything too serious.

Pretty sure he just wanted to gift a place for his best friend on the tour.

Is he playing in Scotland ?

Not playing the Masters ..........either a foot operation or maybe the lack of appearance money
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Dont bother me one bit...plenty more talent on show...unfortunatley snooker is not about RO'S anymore.
Not played for 3 years and itching for a game....11-3-2017.

Not for personal reasons according to Ronnie , said it deserved to go to someone who gives 110% . His usual line of .....I just play for fun .

Well, if that's true, I bet he will be regretting it when his mood swings the other way by the time the Masters comes around.

Strange for him to miss this event as I thought it was one of his favourites. Local lad with a big support and gets home to his own bed every night rather than having to stay in a hotel. Also big money prize which Ronnie likes.

So he "choose" not to enter the Masters?
I thought the top 16 are automatically entered by their rank?
Also, if he "choose", then is that not the "reason" he "personally" took to not attend?

Ronnie chose to not enter the Masters! That's a weird one. Anyway his choice for whatever reason personal or otherwise. As he keeps barking, "I've got nothing to prove to anyone". Maybe he's connected with his daughter and grandchild?

That's the draw of this season's Masters by the way:

                        Trump - Murphy
                        Ding - Perry
                        Selby - Carter
                        Higgins - Hawkins

                        Robertson - Maguire
                        Allen - Gilbert
                        K. Wilson - Lisowski
                        Williams - BIngham

Hmm. Ah well, strange as it's on his doorstep!

We generally go up for the Friday/Saturday so I guess we'll see some of the others, great tournament either way.

The way I see it, Ronnie probably isn't playing well enough to win it. His reputation is better off not entering, and everyone saying 'what if', than it is him losing and pretending he doesn't care.

Doesn't make sense to me, if you want to play a limited schedule, makes sense to play in the bigger tournaments only
