Dunno Mikee I kinda went off snooker after that match for some reason, so I’ve missed the rest of qualifying, though I doubt I’ve missed much. Looking forward to the main event though, particularly seeing Robo & Maguire trample through their draws to set up my predicted final.

I take it you won’t be watching the World Seniors then as you favourite player is in it now

Have a read of this. Real belts and braces for the fans attending The Crucible this year. Hope it works. Ronnie urging the players not to sign autographs and pose for selfies.

No food and drink available to purchase inside the venue. Will the audience be bringing back packs of cans of beer? Can imagine the ref calling "Silence !" as someone drops a can . I see everybody in their predictions have Bingham to beat Ding. I think it will be Ding

                          O'Sullivan - Joyce 10:4
                          Walden - McGill 10-8
                          Bingham - Ding 10-7
                          Maguire - Jones 10-6

                          Higgins - Tian 10-5
                          Williams - Craigie 10-8
                          Lyu - Allen 10-8
Selby - Maflin 10-9 (I can see an upset here though)

                          Robertson - Liang 10-6
                          Carter - Lisowski 10-7
                          Hawkins - Selt 10-4
                          K. Wilson - G. Wilson 10-7

                          Murphy - Davis 10-4
                          Yan - Gould 10-9
                          Gilbert - Wakelin 10-5
                          Trump - Highfield 10-3

Actually this is a draw where I could see many possible upsets. I think only Trump, O'Sullivan and Higgins are more or less "safe" (there is obviously no such thing as safe in Snooker). I have only picked four upsets above, but I think there will happen 6 or 7, just not sure which.

Why are the BBC prioritising a 30 year-old cookery show over live snooker??

There’ll be about 7 people here who get that!

Well, the way this is going, any non-snooker fans would have tuned out, so probably a good choice
