Yup! They reverted to the ‘original’ quite some time ago.

"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

    • Hossein Vafaei always has the demeanour of someone carrying a massive chip on their shoulder.

          I think it's Darren Morgan.

I know it's in the past but Hossein's smash break off against Ronnie did him no favours. It was clearly something he had been planning for a while by the way he looked at his supporters with a sense of triumph but he wasn't planning on Ronnie turning it in to a frame winning break and leaving him squirming in his chair for the rest of the frame. Hossein does seem like a decent guy but he needs to let the frame scores do the talking.

Doh! In hindsight the accent isn't as strong as Darren Morgans.

                  • Cracking total clearance from Vafaei, with a nice doubled black to finish the second session of a very entertaining match. Great win for Chris as well, I really like his calm casual manner around the table, even when he's shaking like a leaf.

Can't wait for the rest of Higgins v Xiao tomorrow.

                    The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

                      Or as coma-inducing!

They seem to be dragging Lee in for most of Mark’s matches… for obvious reasons.

The mainstream media constantly demonising his country doesn't help, aircraft carriers in the gulf and B2 bombers on the runway in Diego Garcia waiting for their orders to attack his country, friends and family at the whim of a genocidal zionist maniac backed by the politicians the british public elected, while he's expected to give his all at the Crucible.
More than a chip on his shoulder, the weight of a whole country and decades of colonial history subconsciously directed at him from the propagandised british crowd, he feels that with the shouts of 'c'mon Mark' or whoever he is facing and is holding up very well considering.
A generalisation yes, but the british empire has left it's mark on us, this aura of superiority over those whom our ancestors conquered for the establishments wealth and power. I believe I've shaken it off but it still surfaces now and again and I have to stop and beat it back into submission.
Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

He's playing snooker not going to war. It's not that serious.

                          • I wonder if John Higgins would still be as good as he is if he was forced to keep his tongue in his mouth

was it Steve Davis who tried to play with tongue out, "to aid concentration" or something?
