If Luca keeps this form the rest of the tournament I don't think even Trump could stop him. That was one session of incredible snooker, I simply can't believe he'll be able to keep playing like that until the end of the tournament but if he does his name is on the trophy.

There is no doubt that for sheer natural talent Brecel is in a league of his own. I always remember the videos of him practicing as a kid and he still looks and plays exactly the same as he did back then. You'd have to say his best is unplayable, could he do it again playing ultra attacking. It'll frighten all the other players if he does.

And it's kind of a hobby for him, not his main focus in life. Imagine if it were. Yeah, he'd probably be crap.

Murphy v Trump looked a fantastic prospect but sadly this has been a very cagey first session. Way too much safety and respect shown to each other, both are attacking players who should've took a leaf out of Brecel's book the way he took the game to Ding.

Trump v Murphy is the biggest let down of the tournament so far after the first session.

Got to tip my hat to Pang and Ding, forcing the final sessions, I thought Ding in particular might have given up. So we have two against-all-odds rear guard actions to look forward to.
