Has anybody mentioned to Zhao that he's playing in a world final? Maybe it'll dawn on him later. Has anybody mentioned to Mark that he's playing in a world final? maybe....

The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!
Really enjoyed tonight's session, Mark showed a lot of fight for an old codger and it could have easily ended up closer, but Zhao is one cool customer. A few early frames from Mark tomorrow could make things very interesting.🤞

Mark was definitely showing fatigue today and not to take anything away from Zhao but it highlights how there should be days rest between the conclusion of the second semi final to the start of the final. It's such a long tournament there is no reason not to have a break to allow both finalists to rest. All credit to Zhao though for the clinical way he is playing and not letting the occasion affect his game. He is on a mission and it will take something special from Mark to catch up.

I had been wondering how Zhao manages to remain so calm, I hear a lot about him being from a prominent family, people who know more than me have noted he wears a Patek Phillipe watch and I guess if you can get help from Ronnie O'Sullivan in your young career that would probably come at a cost too...
He has the air of a Prince around the table and carries himself with great confidence and grace, that would seem to come from good breeding, almost royalty.
It will be interesting to see him put under some early pressure today but, I feel he needs no luck with that talent and temperament.

This rubbish is suggested every year. 11 of the last 20 years the winner came from the evening session. There's absolutely no need for a break.

Hi Snookerfollower, I take offence at you calling my opinion rubbish. It's not the first time you've done this. Please show respect to other people's opinions especially today when we're all in for a treat. It's finals day!

To be fair MrR Williams was for the most part just poor yesterday, don't think it had anything to do with fatigue, i kind of alluded to it in post 577 when he refused a getable red to middle in the first frame.
Like he came out with a safety mindset and it didn't work, hopefully for the spectacle he'll play better today.

I was dismissing the suggestion that's been made my many people not just you as rubbish. People are allowed to disagree with you, you know. Grow a thicker skin. How do you survive in the real world? Like seriously how?

That's all insults. I'm not going to give you the time of day.

Seriously give your head a wobble! Someone disagreeing with you isn't an insult. The real world must be a hard place for you - maybe that's why you're trying to act the hardman on a snooker forum?

Both chill.
No one is acting anything.
Certain words do not come across the internet very well.

Just stop. No-one is acting the hardman here, Jamie.
