I don't think he was thinking. I think he was a bit shell shocked that he lost the match and couldn't face the reality. On the other hand. No one moans when Selby plays on needing 5 snookers. Well. I do but the commentators don't.
Come on give me one good reason for Trump to have carried on playing there. What was he thinking?

No guts no glory Yeah well done maggie. It was not looking to clever early on but he managed to get the job done in the end with a little help from Trump. How good is it to see a Trump game where the idiot friends of his are not screaming out like kids in the crowed every shot he plays.
Intriguing match, although not particularly high quality. Maguire did well to come back from 2-0 down, but I'm not sure he would have had much chance from 3-0, so that was a big frame to win. You can still see the frustration in him when things go wrong, but in the last three tournaments he has definitely dealt better with it. As I said before the tournament, the Murphy-Maguire rivalry could do with another round, and now we have it. Should be an interesting match.
Trump joins the long list of UK finalists who have gone out in the 1st round of the Masters, as I suspected. Could happen to O'Sullivan as well, but I have a feeling he will survive.
Like many of us who play snooker there are
days where we play poorly and Trump had
his day unfortunately. Its a shame as he adds
excitement to most tournaments.
Hopefully Robertson brings his A game today.
