Didn't see any of this yesterday but Ronnie seemed on form still, like he said at the masters he knew his winning streak would be broke at some point and it was a shame there was no little event before the master in which for it to happen.

Fergal only scored 1 point in three frames, bet he was glad it wasn't a best of 11 as he might have taken the record from Walden.

Ronnie plays Ebdon today, always potential in this pairing. Not seen a match between for a good few years now come to think of it.

Any bets on if Ebdon gets a point or less, wish you could bet on average shot time in a match. Easily see Ronnie <20 and Ebdon >25.

Just get over 2-1 in an accumulator for Ronnie to win all three matches today, and cash out option as well. Should/could be worth a risk based on current form.

Ronnie might be 2-1 down here ...

He know has a chance to nick it to go 2-1 up...

            3-2 to ebdon, man gutted...

Glad I took a zero of my betting slip though, as I almost went all in on that one.

Just goes to show, snooker is always on the day between top players. Not I think Ebdon is a top player these days but he was once.

No bets till the WC for me now.

Ebdon can beat anybody in a short match... no way he can beat top players (ronnie , neil , shaun , selby etc...) on long term matches these days....

                Davis 3-2 over O'Sullivan.

The next 3 players to be added are: Dale, Maflin and Lawler.
Not exactly exciting choices to watch for me.

Davis beat O'Sullivan? well done Mark, I switched over to the footy as I thought it was a given that Ronnie would win ... wish I'd stayed watching now and I bet Ronnie's well pleased he has to come back for the next couple of days ... I enjoy watching Dale and Lawler and to some extent Maflin so it should be a good group ... obviously the top match will be Lawler against Ronnie, a true battle of styles, come on Rod!

Yes I also figured O'Sullivan would win easily
after he won his 1st 3 matches and also fired
3 centuries. I had a look to see how the finals
were going and was surprised Davis had won
and there was to be a decider. O'Sullivan did
look tired and bored and wasnt playing his best
and Davis wasnt also but he pulled off the win.
The next group will be interesting.

cuetracker is showing Ronnie and Rod have only played each other once in a serious competition back in 2000 in the Malta Grand Prix and it was clearly a very tight match with Ronnie winning 5-4 ... http://www.cuetracker.net/Head-to-He...nnie-OSullivan

I'd love to be a "fly on the wall" to see what Dr Peters says to Ronnie before they meet

It seems as if Ronnie has withdrawn from group 6. He will be replaced by Ben Woollaston. That might be less enjoyable to watch but still a very interesting group.

It's only The Championship League, it's essentially paid practice.

If there's one event you can be forgiven for not bothering with, it's this one.

                                that match.
